In Case You Missed It(Industrial)- 5/17/07

First we'll head over to the Leavens Awards Company. A local favorite of mine for over 3 years now I have 1000's of photos, only a small fraction of which have made it to either of the Abandoned Dreams webpages. I have explored this building with over a dozen different explorers and can honestly claim to know this buildings layout better than 90% of the people who would have worked here in its production days. Heres a few shots that never made it to either website. Enjoy.

Welcome to The Empire. In its hayday it was a large button factory, but now sits vacant. Abandoned Dreams only explored this building once, but I plan on going back in the future. Lots of old relics from its manufacturing history to see. Enjoy.

Lastly on the Industrial section of the "In Case You Missed It" series, The Balfour Mill. Once home to a large jewelry company, A lumber yard, A Kodak film developing center, A party store, A karate studio, An art studio, and many offices and loft apartments this building now sits empty awaiting valdals and copper theives. Much of the building has been destroyed in the less than 20 years its been closed and many of the floors are unstable and collapsing. Many reminants of this buildings history still lay where they were abandoned, rotting away with time. Enjoy.
